A beautiful Carpathian endemic, with
flowers which resemble a lot those of Campanula persicifolia
L. but with very different leaves. It is a great sight to see these bell flowers hanging
on the rocks from the shadowed upper nemoral and boreal woods of the
Carpathians but unfortunately the species is missing from the Apuseni
Mountains.
Pictures taken in Ciucas Mountains, Valea
Berii area, cca 1000m asl, on 21st of August 2006
