Campanula carpatica Jacq.

Flora Europaea specimens from the Linnean herbarium perennial, H,2n=34 saxicole, mesic, upper nemoral-boreal, rarer subalpine Carpathian Asplenietrea, Thlaspietea R4101-4127, R4201-4214, R3102-3105, R3107-3110 habitats       A beautiful Carpathian endemic, with flowers which resemble a lot those of Campanula persicifolia L. but with very different leaves. It is a great sight to see these bell flowers hanging on the rocks from the shadowed upper nemoral and boreal woods of the Carpathians but unfortunately the species is missing from the Apuseni Mountains.
